Over a decade at CSC, I owned the third-party agreement transition deliverable across 15+ outsourcing transitions, each one carrying contract portfolios worth millions of dollars.
Outcome
I led 15+ successful outsourcing transitions, documented $26M in cost savings, and drove the development and growth of GATS into the company's corporate standard.
The challenge
Each transition meant taking responsibility for hundreds to thousands of third-party agreements at once, deciding what to assign, transfer, replace, or carry forward, without a service interruption or a missed obligation.
The framework
I helped build GATS from the ground up, then led its growth, from an Excel tracker into a SharePoint-backed system with real-time reporting, while leading cross-functional teams across Legal, Finance, and Procurement, often without direct authority over them.
Delivery
I negotiated directly with more than 1,000 vendors on license structure and service rates, while coordinating daily with delivery teams across time zones on multiple transitions at once, keeping account leads and executives aligned on where every transition stood without burying them in vendor-level detail. The $26M in savings was documented and verified for Legal and Finance.
Scale
I trained teams globally to run transitions on the system, traveling to support startup through close-out. The work eventually moved my team into Corporate Shared Services under Legal.
